Here I am, sitting in my friend's kitchen - procrastinating, as usual. I figured I'd post for a second and get my brain thinking about something other than "Do Primates Have Culture?". Although a fascinating topic - it really is - I am so tired of writing. By Monday I need to take a Psych quiz, complete two English assignments, do Math homework, finish reading my Sociology, and write a 500 word opinion essay on "Do Primates Have Culture?" for Anthropology.Gone are those days when homework was a joke, (homework was classwork!), and tests are done in this manner:
"Oh, we have a test today? Huh. News to me. Okay, well, let's wing it and see how that goes!"
Yeah. I miss that time! High school now feels idyllic, a lost paradise, or a secret garden of never needing to work at my courses. I'm being challenged and that's exciting, but at the same time, there are days when you have so much due at the exact same time, that things are just overwhelming.
